ICANN has the administrative capacity to process 500 applications at a time but has received over 2000 applicants and requires a system of prioritisation. Under new rules ICANN decided upon a uniquely complex system called digital archery, whereby a split-second variance between a chosen and an actual time will determine priority. DAE offers a technology solution to applicants designed to hit a desired timestamp target within milliseconds.
