" The .eu top-level domain registry, EURid, is attending the Global INET 2012 conference in Geneva, Switzerland from 22-24 April 2012 to connect with the Internet Society’s global network of policy makers, technologists, government representatives and business executives.

EURid shares the Internet Society’s stance on developing the Internet for the benefit of all. As such, the European chapter of the Internet Society is an associate member of EURid and sits on the .eu registry’s Strategic Committee.

In addition to EURid being a conference sponsor, .eu staff will be available at EURid’s exhibition stand to answer questions about the benefits of being online with .eu. The .eu extension is ideally suited for European Union businesses with cross-border operations, or aspirations, by enabling companies to express the fact that they are open for business in other EU markets.
