Perhaps Apple was just being very careful not to draw attention to its multimedia devices names when they decided not to go after iPad.com domain name.However,Apple released the first iPad in April 2010.Therefore,it's been more than a year since Apple launched the device and the company still doesn't own iPad.com .

However,the company acquired recently about 50 domain names related to OS X Lion and iCloud,such as appleairplaymirroring.com,appledocumentsinthecloud.com and applegestures .

A few days ago,Apple has finally taken possesion of two iPhone related domain names : iPhone4.com and WhiteiPhone.com .
